В началото на всяка година Game Developers Conference почита най-добрите постижения в гейм индустрията със своите ежегодни GDC Awards и организаторите на събитието обявиха официалния списък с номинациите за предстоящото издание на събитието.
Както може да предположите, някои от най-големите хитове на 2015 г. като Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain и Тhe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ще се борят за награди и тук, като в случая последните две заглавия са и с най-много номинации.
Представена е и инди сцената с игри като Rocket League, Her Story, Undertale и др., които също са номинирани.
Церемонията Game Developers Conference 2016 Awards ще се проведе на 16 март в Сан Франциско, а събитието ще се стриймва на живо и в Twitter.
