Всеки build на vivaldi може да е портативка. ;] Е, портативка в смисъл да го разархивираш и да го пуснеш без инсталация. Иначе пак си пише по регистри и си създава работна папка в appdata-та.

Все повече заприличва на старата Опера. Има вградена електронна поща, която все още е в бета версия, има RSS, синхронизация. 

Богати опции за настройка на подпрозорците, като разположението им, може да бъде долу, дясно, горе. Анимация на зареждането, скролване на подпрозорците.....

Уеб панелите, може удобно да се закрепи на панела от лявата страна уеб страници, както примерно е при FF, но там са закрепени подпрозорците на лентата за подпрозорци.

На новата версия се акцентирира повече на темите за браузера.
