Адаш, досега не си споменал каква ти е конфигурацията. Може дъното да не е съвместимо. И дай резултата от
lsmod | grep i2c
А в нета пише още, че при ядра 2.6.14-2.6.18 има такива случаи. При по-нови не.

Ами ти трябва да отговориш на

Със YES. След което

modprobe i2c-i801

След което инсталираш аплет, ако не искаш всеки път да влизаш в терминал,

# apt-get install sensors-applet

и добавяш към който искаш панел с десен клик >>>Hardware Monitor

Иначе като гледам изхода от lsmod | grep i2c всичко е ОК.

Сега относно клавишите. Явно старото ядро не се нрави на acerhk и ще ти трябва ново. И за да не си създаваш излишни ядове след компилация на ново ядро, по-добре изчакай. Този месец Lenny ще стане stable, тогава ще можеш да ъпгрейднеш и ще имаш по- ново ядро.

Кажи каква е била причината и как си се справил с проблема, може да помогне на някой.

А щом казва, че не открива сензори... Още при изхода от sensors-detect ти изписва, че няма успех нито със сензорите на процесора, нито на VIA чипсета . Няма какво да правиш в това положение, освен да пробваш пак сега с новото ядро. А, и няма нужда от тези eeprom- те не ти трябват.

Направих един неуспешен опит да ъпгейдна до Lenny, но тогава не знаех, че това се прави в текстов режим Публикувано изображение

Както и да е.... Направих rescue-mode от инсталационното сд, прекомпилира ядрото (нямам идея защо) и всичко е ок.

Значи ще изчакам да стане Лени стабилен, и тогава пак ще поработя по въпроса. Иначе, адаш, благодарен съм за отделеното внимание и помощта!

Някой подкарвал ли е дайвери за ATI на Lenny 64bit? Днес какво ли не пробвах, различни версии, всичко минава добре, в xorg е посочен fglrx, но си зарежда Mesa и това е.. Пробвах това и с просто изпълняване на .run файа..

Предложения?

Няма ли да е по-лесно за добави хранилища на unstable в sources.list, след което

apt-get source 
apt-get build-dep linux-restricted-modules

И да компилира, или това е пакет само за Ubuntu?

Не само че е пакет само за Ubuntu, но и зависи от готовите ядра за тази дистрибуция. Струва ми се обаче с малко повече крачна работа има шанс от там да се вземат патчове, които липсват в Debian-ските 64 битови сорсове. Дали обаче това ще реши проблема с инсталирането не може да се каже на базата на наличната информация.

Ще може ли малко по-подробно описание..все още съм малко newbie. Инсталирах драйверите fglrx през synaptic и работят, но проблема е, че са прекалено нова версия и незнайно защо wine не работи с тях (а това е главната причина да инсталирам драйвери). Под Ubuntu wine работеше с Catalyst 8.5, с по-новите версии - не. Струва ми се, че и тук ще е така, т.е. въпроса е как да подкарам 8.5.

Погледна ли на сайта на Debian какво казват хората? Ако не си, хвърли едно око тук . Практически стига мрежата да се засече чрез DHCP, е възможно. Wi-fi не съм пробвал, тъй като няма и как. Страницата казва

В сайта на Debian не погледнах. Търсих през google, но не открих нищо, което ми се стори доста странно. Надявам се да се получи. Като пробвам, че поста какъв е бил резултата.

2 седмици по-късно...

Мъча се да подкарам пълноценно Debian Lenny на лаптоп ASUS X56VR-AP057C, но незнайно защо по време на буутването на операционната систеа(на Waiting for /dev to be fully populaтed...), преди gdm, екрана затъмнява и не мога да разбера как да го докарам до нормална яркост. Пробвах brightness applet, но без ефект. Изобщо не работи. В Power management preferences Set display brightness to ми е на 100%. Махнал съм и отметките на Dim display when idle и в On AC Powe и в On Battery Power за всекии случай. Пробвах и с live cd на ubuntu 8.04 и ситуацията е същата. ПП: шорткътите на F5/F6 също не работят.

Wget служи за download, а aptitude e пакетен мениджър.

Тези два реда нямат място в sources.list.

# wget -O - http://backports.org/debian/archive.key | apt-key add -
# aptitude install debian-multimedia-keyring

Те служат за добавяне на key (подпис) за хранилището и се изпълняват в терминала.

apt-cdrom add

Това добавя CD-to в списъка с хранилища.

А винаги ли след инсталацията на Дебиан трябва да се променя този сорс лист или може просто да се остави?Задавам този въпрос,защото статията която четох за инсталация на Дебиан пишеше,че трябва да се смени.Но...след като е фабричната листа на дебиан...не ми се вярва да е зле и да има нужда от смяна.

Колко пъти възнамеряваш да инсталираш Debian? И статии за инсталиране на Debian ... на сайта има, бих казал, много добра документация не само за инсталацията, но и по много други въпроси относно системата. Всяка дистрибуция при инсталация те пита при настройката на хранилища - включително и Debian. Лошото е, че по време на инсталация не засича pppoe връзка.

Принципно нямам намерение да го инсталирам 100 пъти,но за да се научиш да го инсталираш без да го омазваш са ти нужни 2-3 инстала :rolleyes: . Имам и още 1 проблем:имам УСБ ХДД,но като го пусна под Дебиан-а не ми излизат някой от папките (тези с музика,филми и програми).На какво се дължи това и как мога да го оправя?

Принципно нямам намерение да го инсталирам 100 пъти,но за да се научиш да го инсталираш без да го омазваш са ти нужни 2-3 инстала .

Имам и още 1 проблем:имам УСБ ХДД,но като го пусна под Дебиан-а не ми излизат някой от папките (тези с музика,филми и програми).На какво се дължи това и как мога да го оправя?

Добър вечер.

По принцип при Unix, да не кажа няма, но не бива да има омазване. Нали уж има слава на стабилна и гъвкава система.. И затова има документация.

Що се отнася до HDD - да не би да има скрити папки? Ако си с GNOME, пробвай Ctrl+H.
